What data is collected?

Only the data requested on our website in order to join the campaign to fill in the public consultation will be collected.

What is your data used for?

Your name, e-mail address and the consultation responses will be transmitted directly to the European Commission and will not be shared or made public.

When you tick the optional box to be kept informed, we or the organisation on whose website you have signed the petition will send you updates of the campaign. If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from the email list, you may do so by following the instructions given in the email.

After the action is finished, your data will be returned to the NGO-partner in this action, located in your country. The organisation through whom you participated may retain your data in accordance for relevant purpose in which it was originally collected and their Privacy Policy.

Data tracking

In order to better monitor the performance of this action, we may use cookies and analyse web logs. We may collect IP addresses to better understand where our traffic is coming from. This helps us understand traffic patterns and know if there are problems with our website.
