Commissioner Phil Hogan received 258,708 Living Land signatures and logos of 600 organisations that called for a radical reform of Common Agricultural Policy. The Living Land coalition handed the signatures and logos before a high-level conference on the future of CAP, organised by European Environmental Bureau and BirdLife Europe.
Commissioner Phil Hogan and a host of other speakers from a broad range of civil society organisations talked about implications for the future of the CAP. The Commission is expected to present its response to the consultation in a Conference on 7 July.
